What should I bring on my Ft. Lauderdale fishing charter?

The number one question that people ask when booking a South Florida fishing charter is What should I bring with me? Below you will find a list that Captain Stu Covitz thinks every charter fishing cruiser should bring along.

Don't Forget Your Sunblock1. When you are on a deep sea fishing charter in Florida, it is important to remember that this is not only the fishing charter capital of the world, but the sunshine capital of the world as well. Please make sure you have a hat, a pair of polarized sunglasses and most importantly sunscreen.

2. Bring a cooler full of whatever you like to eat or drink while on your fishing charter. We do ask that all containers are either plastic or metal cans, please avoid any glass containers. We recommend that you bring fresh fruit and plenty of water, as these will help to avoid dehydration. Ice chest with ice will be available to store your food and drinks on board.

3. Captain Stu recommends that you bring a sweatshirt and possibly a change of clothes, remember this is a fishing charter and there is a chance that you will get wet.

4. Also please bring along some cash as tips to the mates are greatly appreciated. The mates will help you to clean your fish, bait your hooks and offer general tips for an amazing adventure.

If you have any questions on what to bring, or anything at all about your deep sea fishing charter, please contact us immediately. We look forward to seeing you aboard the Miss Bonita II.
